Sky Sports News today reported that following growing speculation about his future, Sam Draisey has stepped down as manager of Crawley.
Sky Sports News later reported that Sam Draisey has been appointed manager of Scottish Third Division side Arbroath.
'Im not here to talk about Crawley' said Draisey. 'I learned a lot from my time there but its behind me now and my new aim is to bring success to this club.
Dear Diary,
A fresh start. It what i needed. I couldnt take it at Crawley anymore. There was no pleasing the staff or the fans. The welcoming feeling i got from them when i started had obviously gone by now. But ive managed to do quite well in the games left in Arbroath's season. Two players in from new affiliate Hibs helped, so i extended their loans for next season too! I even won manager of the month last month! Im enjoying it again. thats what its about.
