I so far always used the diamond 4-4-2, that always worked for me. I play the side-midfielders wide and very attacking with an arrow up front. So the 4-4-2 during attacking play transforms into a 4-1-3-1. If I want to hold the result as it is and play defensively I just take a striker out and put another DM in so that I play a 4-2-3-1 with counter-attacking style and it worked for me in FM07 so far. I also like to play more short than long balls with many-times counter-attacking and I use a playmaker. |
