We would like to give evertonfan a warm welcome as our new moderator! Evertonfan has been on FMF since May 3rd 2006 and that makes him a member from almost the very beginning of FMF. Since that moment he's been an active posters and a great spammer in the shoutbox haha. :peace: It says enough when you're on the third place of Top Posters (with almost 900 posts) behind the two great admins (don't want to say any names hehe).
The reason why we got another moderator is mostly because of the shoutbox. The last couple of days there were some arguments and name-calling going on in the shoutbox and no moderator or admin present to stop these. We've worked very hard to get FMF to where we are now and it's ashame that some people can't behave and have to ruin it for others. Thanks to that the shoutbox has been closed the past two days but now that we have another moderator who is extremely active we hope these bad moments are behind us and we can use the shoutbox again for the reason we've added it, to talk about FM and have fun with eachother.
About the shoutbox, admins and moderator can always clean the shoutbox when someone is swearing, starting a fight or something else inappropriate. When someone doesn't stop after a warning from a moderator, the mod can contact the admin and request a shoutbox ban for that member. Just use the shoutbox to talk about FM and other fun stuff but don't use it to have arguments with other members and make fun of others.
Anyway, a big warm welcome to evertonfan from the FMF staff and we're sure he will do one hell of a job as a moderator!
