In what was my 100th game in charge of Hamburg, we won the Cup! A comfortable win and what was really sweet was Scotsman John Fleck got the winner.
Bundesliga: 7th
German Cup: Winners.
Champions League: Last 16.
Overall, bar the Cup win, a really disappointing season. The team underacheived MASSIVELY in a year when the board were generous enough to give me overall a £15million budget. I take hope in the fact that the squad is still very young, with bags of potential. Roll on next season!
Probably the biggest plus to come out of the season was that John Fleck played extremely well. At 18, his stats have shot up since he came from Rangers, and I played him in the first team a lot and he bagged 16 goals.
Top scorer for the Club on all levels was Chilean Nicolás Millán, who scored 22 for the U-19's.
