You have the Superdraft at the end of each season, where each club gets to select 4 players iirc, then a month or so later, theres another draft for all the players who werent picked in the super draft
In the draft selection goes from the bottom of the league to the top, so if DC United finish top, and LA Galaxy finish last, then LA get first draft pick
Thats basically the draft
But you can swap draft picks for players
Also before the draft there is a competition that you send your scouts to, this features all the players who will be up for grabs in the draft, and so you get a chance to pick out the bets
