Tursk With Fans (Part 2)

Turin, 29th of May 2007 - Gazzetta gives you the full lenght two hour online interview where Torino's manager Tanel Tursk answered to different questions from fans. This is part two of the interview.

"Are you satisfied with your contract with Torino?"

"It's okay. I have no such luxury, like Ronaldo has with free burgers down the McDonalds or Adriano with gold card to all Milano's clubs or [Jose] Mourinho's anger management classes, but I'm happy with my Panani strickers of World Cup 2006 winners."

"Is it true you'd like to sign [Giampaolo] Pazzini?"

"Pazzini is a great guy. He sometimes misses the net, but so do all the great strikers. This is a nice option, I'm thinking of it right now as I'm answering to this question. Pazzini is young, he and Elvis Abbruscato would form a huge partnership."

"Whom do you consider the hottest prospects?"

"I don't know about foreign leagues, expect from what my scout has told me. In South America there's some goalkeeper who I am interested in, I don't know his name, but he is one of my main priorities for the summer. Also Marco Andreolli has a great future from Italians. In Torino we don't have great prospects, our youth, unfortunately, are average. Not to take anything away from their average performances at the end of the season in the league. And I also think Nikolas Anelka still has what it's got to become one of world's best."

"Do you think your new players [Lionel] Mathis and [Gabriel] Tamas have quality to play in Serie A?"

"I bought them for next season because I know they can do good. Mathis will have a tough fight, but Tamas is a guarantee first teamer. Alongside [Raffaele] Schiavi, eventhough [Marco] Di Loreto was better than the youngster this season. Though sometimes you need to be biased."

"Will you directly throw them into Serie A football, or are you going to outloan them?"

"I will throw them in from the game one hopefully. This in case they don't get injuried. I already spat three times over the shoulder, unfortunately Roberto Stellone was standing behind me. Now he has a huge white stain on his pants. I think, it's my spit. Not entirely sure though."

"Is Torino hunting [Manuele] Blasi?"

"We leave that to the child rape section of Italian police. If they get him, we wouldn't mind getting a call. There's always a place in our reserves."

"We don't have Mexes."

"Will [Gianluca] Comotto stay or leave? Would you like him to stay?"

"He won't unfortunately. I had a meeting with him just few days ago. He, Roma officals, our officals and me. Unfortunately we don't have Mexes and it proved to be a decisive factor. Besides he wanted ridicilous wages. Eventhough we were willing to offer those."

"How is the goalkeeper's situation?"

"Goalkeeper situation is fine. Eventhough both goalkeepers made mistakes every second game, I think we're okay there. As said, I'm also getting a new goalkeeper from South America probably. They both, Andre Zuba and Cristiano Lupatelli, have proved once in a while that they can make some fantastic games."

"Is Pavel Nedved's wife pregnant with you?"

"Those rumours are totally false. I can confirm that she is pregnat, though not from me... and obviously not Pavel."

"Are you planning to become Italian NT manager?"

"It's a great idea, but it'll never happen. I enjoyed my time in Cyprus as national team manager some time ago, but international management wasn't for me. Either it robs every bit of my time or it is too slowly progressing."

"Who was the biggest surprise this season in Serie A?"

"From players - I'd say our [Elvis] Abbruscato. From teams - us aswell. Besides us, young Salvatore Foti made a huge developement this year in Sampdoria and for the team, Sampdoria really played great."

"Do you consider [Riccardo] Montolivo as future Azzurri player? Would you like to see him wearing Granata shirt?"

"Riccardo is an interesting talent. He would find some room in Torino without a doubt. I never mind a hot young Italian talent. If he'd become available, I'd take him first chance possible. He'll rock in Serie A soon, and he and Italy will too."

"Are you looking to sign [Christian] Vieri?"

"As Inter fan, I'd even prefer his brother Max. Though Roberto Muzzi left, there is room for a 5th striker here as Cacau also arrives in summer."

"Is it true that you have pre-contract with Ryan Giggs?"

"Those false accusations from the English newspapers are really becoming funny. First [Elvis] Abbruscato to Chelsea, which was totally false and now this. We've never contacted Giggs, besides we can't do so anyway as Urbano Cairo hasn't given us mobile phone cards that allow us to make calls to out of Italy."

"Will [Elvis] Abbruscato move in huge-money deal to Chelsea?"

"I have no information about this currently. I know more in case Roman Abramovich asks me to have a dinner with him in London."

"Is CSKA Moscow interested in Rosina?"

"I have no idea what they are thinking about in Moscow. Maybe they are interested in a second CCCP. I don't know."

"Are you prepared to let them go?"

"No, I'm not. There is a system here. And besides, I enjoy having good time with [Alessandro] Rosina's girlfriend while Elvis [Abbruscato] is out with mine.."

"Montero isn't around top class anymore."

"Are you going to sign some dirty bastard for your defense?"

"Paolo Montero, sadly for the whole world of football, isn't around top class anymore. I doubt I can get him out of retirement. We could use some of his dirty tackles in the box. Though about tough defenders, we have strong interest in how does Marco Materazzi's situation in Inter turn out. He wants more money from them it seems."

"Do you like Italian girls? Are they easy?"

"I love Italian girls. Me and the boys have lots of fun with them. Now as the summer season starts, we're going to do the Italian footballers style sex in the beach with a babe a lot. There are so many beautiful girls there that it's easy to find the easy ones."

"How much you have to pay them?"

"It really depends in which part of the country I am. In the north, where I am most of the time, they cost more, because there is more money in north. Though in southern islands I can get some for carrot seeds."

"After a match in Rome with Roma, was it you who visited [Philippe] Mexes' room?"

"Yes, it was me. I needed to know wheter [Roberto] Stellone's accusation of Mexes touching his genitles during a set piece situation late in the match were true."

"Are you happy in Italy?"

"I'm happy in Italy, I've lovely people around me. There aren't many Juventus fans in Turin luckily."

"Do you prefer sunny beaches or mountains with snow?"

"I prefer the mountains. They are both great. Though is it a trick question? Brilliantly tanned Paris Hilton (no brests) or Carmen Electra (big brests) without a tan. I'd still take the second."

"Do you have Fiat?"

"I used to have one, but it broke down. Those few days were great for me."

"Would you accept Maserati in order to lose Scudetto to Juve?"

"If I can ran over all Juventus players later on with it, I'd say it is a good deal."

"Are you thinking of going back home to Estonia?"

"Yes, I miss those nights of me and vodka. Cold beer, bottles of vodka, great friends, some barbacue and stuff in the remote forests of Hiiumaa is best thing if you want to get out of civilisation."

"Where is Estonia?"

"Under few kilometre ice if the climate warming continues."

"Will you arrange tour in your home country?"

"I'd love to do that, if we'd actually have any decent teams around there. Though I plan on taking my players to the Estonia - England game in June, so they know how not to play football. And I'm not only talking about Estonia here."

"Is there still soviet army in Tallinn?"

"Yes, the ruling party of Tallinn is actually the red army in there."

"Is Estonia soverign country?"

"Yes, we are. We actually control everything going around the Baltic Sea and Russia."

"Do you find living in Italy better?"

"I like it here more. Warmer and in winter it's better because of the mountains. The girls are as pretty."

"I miss good beer and vodka."

"What are you missing in Italy?"

"I miss good beer and vodka."

"Are you sharing your girlfriend with your players?"

"Yes I do. It's a rule, I'd get fired otherwise. It keeps players motivated, good match equals a night with my girlfriend."

"Is Lupatelli bald?"

"It's a question which it's tough to answer. Everytime I try to look at his hair, a bright light blinds my eyes. I think it's either the sun mirroring from his hairless head or it's my mother from the sky trying to remind me not to look at other men."

"Are you going to bring in promising youngster from Estonia to Italy?"

"There isn't one. If we'd be in B like Juventus, there would be few promising youngsters by B level, but for A they are too weak in there."

"Which Italian stadium, excluding Torino's, you find the best?"

"I've always enjoyed going to Ascoli's home. And ofcourse San Siro. I've also dreamt of playing the Colosseum."

"Do you know why Serie A reminds Zoo?"

"Unfortunately I don't. Don't know any other animals there beside Gennaro "Uh-oh" Gattuso. I've always thought it was a chicken farm where everyone is afraid of the big bad Roster Moggi.

"Thanks for all your questions, see you again next season, with Juventus hopefully being succesful in the Serie B promotion fight so we can have the huge Turin derby back in Serie A."
