Hartlepool United Hartlepool chairman Ken Hodcroft has today announced that they have come across who is the next Hartlepool manager. Although Ian Butterworth was odds-on to get the job, Hartlepool Have appointed an unknown Scot named James McMahon as there manager. James had this to say, "I am delighted to have the chance to manage at Victoria Park and I have no doubt in my mind that the supporters will be unhappy and want a more known manager in charge of the club, I just hope that I can win thier support over the first few months of the season." Chairman Ken Hodcroft said, "I am sure I have made the right choice on appointing James as manager." He later went on and said, "Sadly, because of out debt of £4 million, James only has £60k to spend on new players with a wage budget of £22k per-week. More on this tomorrow. (Game time) |
