Default Virtual Memory Issues? Guide here!!



If you are running Windows XP and your machine says "Running low on Virtual memory" you will need to increase it.

This is where you will find those options..

Click on START... Control Panel... SYSTEM..

then from the tabs at the top click on ADVANCED...

You will then see screen 1 on the image above.. click on "settings" in the PERFORMANCE section..

you will get screen 2...

In the Virtual Memory section click on CHANGE.. and get screen 3..

Change and click ok..


The best way of making sure this never happens is to buy more RAM ...but increasing the VM in a machine is a SMALL step into making sure FM runs smoother...
