i started out trying to do challenge 2 (ie. gain promotion without signing any new players). after my first friendly, i decided to change to option 1!!! i was soundly beaten by aston villa's reserves, 6-0...i signed a new assistant manager, and left him in charge of the rest of my friendlies, most of which ended in defeat. my first league match was away at moor green, a match i was expected to win easily. however this was not the case, and i scrapped a draw thanks to an owngoal with 15 mins left on the clock! oh well, things can only better!!! |
