 Torino - Roma 13th of December 2006 Stadio Olimpico, Turin Italian Serie A 2006/2007 - Week 15     45'  Elvis Abbruscato, 75' Masashi Oguro
Andre Zuba returned to goal to see as Torino got back on track with a convincing victory againist Roma as Masashi Oguro & Elvis Abbruscato scored again.
Simone Barone was injuried so Torino had to go over to a 4-1-2-1 formation for the match againist Roma. Cedric Konan was out too, but Andre Zuba made set to make his first performance after the three and half month of being out of the squad.
The match was originally supposed to be played on the 3rd of December when it was Torino's anniversary day, but it got delayed alongside with Chievo - Reggina game.
The first chance fell to Alessandro Rosina, but his free-kick was deflected wide of the goal for a corner.
Soon at the other end Zuba made a nice save on a Francesco Totti shot.
It wasn't that interesting match, but there were some tight moments like Doni running out of Roma goal to kick the ball away under the nose of Roberto Stellone.
Though it was Totti who had the best chance of the game so far on the 24th minute, but his header from six meters was brilliantly saved by young Brazilian goalkeeper Zuba.
It was some boring minutes ahead, but the game finally got interesting just before half-time whistle.
Doni made a great double save on Elvis Abbruscato and Stefano Fiore, but his second save fell to Abbruscato and this time he couldn't do anything as the striker had an empty net and Torino got a dramatic lead.

Then Totti immediately scored wide from 30 meters and at the other end Diego De Ascentis got close to heading in a Fiore cross, but it flew over.
At half-time Masashi Oguro came in for invisible Roberto Stellone.
Five minutes after Doni saved Fiore's shot from distance and this was followed by fantastic end to end stuff.
First Francesco Totti was pressurised to shoot the ball over by De Ascentis. Then Doni tipped over a Nikola Lazetic shot as from the following corner he punched out a Elvis Abbruscato bomb from outside of the box.
And from the following counter-attack Andre Zuba showed his presence again by some brilliant goalkeepeing by running out of his goal to catch a very low cross towards Amantino Mancini near the penalty spot.
It was Torino who scored though as Masashi Oguro got the ball to from Alessandro Rosina as he dribbled past Philippe Mexes to see his shot smothered away by Doni.
The Japanese striker reacted quickly though, getting the ball on the edge of the area and fooling Mexes again to send the ball past four Roma players who were trying to block the ball on line.
 Oguro is in hot form, either an assist or a goal every game
On the other end Mancini volleyd over the ball in near post and Mexes header flew wide of the goal as Roma was desperately trying to get past the Torino defence who had a great day.
Elvis Abbruscato almost scored another goal, but his lob flew over and it ended 2:0 for Torino as they raised to 6th.
