Gers snap up Croatian Star

Rangers have confirmed the signing of 20 year-old Croatian Winger Luka Modric for a fee of £1.6m. Modric, who spent 5 years at Dinamo felt he needed a new challenge. Modric is now contracted to Rangers for 5 years.
Rangers Skipper Barry Ferguson has declared he expects Croatian Star Luka Modric to shine in Glasgow. The Scottish International believes Modric has the potential to become a Rangers hero if he sustains his place in the Gers side for a long period of time.

A goal from Swedish Striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic secured the win at Ibrox for Italian Giants Inter Milan. The goal came after 19mins when a cross from Alvaro Recoba caught Rangers napping as the big Swede fired home from close range. Rangers had a few attempts of their own, a Barry Ferguson free-kick skimmed the crossbar and Winger Luka Modric was also close at breaking down the Milan rearguard but in the end the Italians came out on top in a closely fought match.

Gers announce link with League One side

Rangers chairman David Murray has announced that they will be involved as a Feeder Club to Coca-Cola League One side Bristol City. Rangers will be able to send fringe players on loan at Ashton Gate if City would like to acquire their services. Rangers also have first-option of any Bristol City player if another club makes an offer. Overall, this deal costs Rangers a small £45.75k per annum.

Gers sign Defensive Duo

Rangers have signed West Bromwich Albion Defender Neil Clement for a fee of £300,000. Clement was on the transfer-list at The Baggies and Rangers gaffer Ross Dunbar was keen to add the Defender to his squad. Clement signs on a 3 year-deal worth just under £1,500,000. The Gers have also snapped up St. Mirren defender Kirk Broadfoot for £200,000. Broadfoot has been a Rangers Supporter all his life and is looking forward to the demands at Ibrox.
