Dunbar picked up 72 caps for Scotland and famously scored the winning goal against England in their 4-3 mauling at Wembley. Rangers Chairman David Murray has admitted that he is delighted to have secured Dunbar's signature and is looking forward to working with the life-long Rangers fan. Dunbar has declared himself thrilled to be working alongside his heroes and is looking to install some fight into his team. The new Rangers manager has confirmed that Barry Ferguson will continue his role as captain with Croatian striker Dado Prso the vice-captain. Rangers travel to Vienna to take on Rapid Wien tonight but Ross Dunbar will not take charge of the team as he is currently looking for an assistant manager to replace Yves Colleu. |
