Steve Round has left his coaching role at Middlesbrough. The part-time England coach has quit the Teesside club by mutual consent.
Gareth Southgate has promoted Colin Cooper into a more prominent role with Middlesbrough's first team. Following Steve Round's exit on Friday, Cooper has been handed greater responsibility at The Riverside. Having been in charge of the reserves, Cooper will now work with the first team.
