Getafe are poised to complete the loan signing of Latvian international striker Maris Verpakovskis. The 27-year-old is currently on the books of Dynamo Kiev, but finds himself out of favour at the Ukrainian outfit whom he joined in the 2003-04 season. As a result, Dynamo have consented to a loan that will see the pacey front man join Getafe for the second half of the Spanish season.
