A official bid for 6.5 Million has been accepted by Tottenham Hotspur for controversial right back Pascal Chimbonda, This has totally baffled Tottenham fans who were under the impression he was going no where, Pascal Chimbonda is to arrive at Villa Park around noon today for contract negotiations.

Official statement from Ron Henderson, He said "I have lodged bids for 7 players I think would offer something to Aston Villa, Ben Foster from Manchester United, Anatoliy Tymoschuk from Shakhtar, Andres D'Alessandro from Wolfsburg, Pascal Chimbonda from Tottenham, Gerard Pique from Manchester United and Nicklas Bendtner from Arsenal."
With Aston Villa looking to bulk out there squad there speculation is rife wether the likes of Djemba Djemba, Agathe, Berger, Hendrie, Sutton, Ridgewell and Hughes are to remain at Villa.
