It was already light, I had slept a tad too much and it was a usual day, training starting at 10:30 AM. I made my way into the kitchen to found out that I was out of coffee. I had no time to go down and rush to the store and grab one pack, but thanks to me getting out of the bed too late I had no time. I could've grabed a coffee from some place on my way, but those coffee's suck in my opinion and in the end it would've probably taken almost the same amount of time. The players are very tense with getting late and if one of them gets late, they would whine at me like hell, if I am angry at the guy, which I usually am. And in the end I held work as very important part of my ethics, so being late for just sleeping too much was out of question. I did two little sandwiches as I rushed out of the building, thinking of grabing a coffee in the training ground. As I reached the training ground I first told my second hand manager to get the players do some shooting excercise as planed as I had been confirmed that there had been some coffee left in the headquarters restroom. I wandered my way behind the goal, squeezing and then opening my eyes to get a more clear view of things. I discovered that I had forgot to wash myself, teeth, face and body. Anyway, just as I had finished that thought I was hit by a mish*t shot from Bruno China, our captain. Straight in the face and his bombs aren't really enjoyable, squad laughed and I kicked the ball back. I didn't feel a thing until I grabed my coffee, then I felt that terribliy cold feeling in one tooth. It kept on hurting and I checked from the mirror in the room. Just that moment chairman Carlos Oliveira had came here to do prepare himself for the club's board-meeting, which I was supposed to attend too. "Hmm..." noise came out when he opened the door. "There seems to be a big crack in one of the front teeth of mine," I told him. He proposed to get the secretary to drive me to Porto where he knew one of the best dentist. He did a phone-call and offered some big cash to get me in despite the guy having a free day. |
