Teams Formations Right I will hopefully go through the DB before release and redo the teams standard forations to what they are using atm!!! A few rules as far as this thread goes... 1. Do NOT post a team who is already listed as it clogs up the thread and creates more work for me! 2. I require the info in this format: Team - Country - Division - Formation 1 and 2 (ONLY 2!) 3. Please do not discuss any formations laready mentioned as it clogs up the thread and makes more work for me!! 4. This is NOT just for English teams.. but EVERY TEAM in FM06 !! Teams Mentioned: EPL: Liverpool: 4-4-2 and 4-4-1-1 Man Utd: 4-4-2 and 4-3-2-1 and 4-4-1-1 Chelsea = 4-4-2 and 4-3-2-1 and 4-4-1-1 or 4-3-3 (I Shall investigate further) Arsenal = 4-4-2 and 4-5-1 Bolton = 4-5-1 and 4-1-4-1 Blackburn = 4-4-2 and 4-5-1 Man City = 4-4-2 and 4-1-4-1 Newcastle 4-4-2 Or 4-3-3 with two wide men rather than central Fulham: 4-1-3-2 (back 4, narrow DM, 3 CMs, 2 ST) 4-4-2 Blackburns - is just a 442 we played 451 Everton - 4-4-2 normal second: 4-5-1 (chelsea style) third?: 4-5-1 flat English Championship: Hull: 4-4-2 Diamond with 4 at the back dm, rm , lm and am with 2 strikers. Crystal Palace: normal 4-4-2 4-5-1 Ipswich play 4-4-2 with wingers or 3-5-2 with wing backs very occasionly Birmingham 4,4,2 2 dm and to creative midfielders on the wings (having a free role), 2nd 4,5,1 with a am behind the forward Wolves - 4-5-1 and 4-4-2 Preston North End - Championship - 4-4-2 English League 1: Cheltenham:- 4-4-2 (normal) 4-1-4-1 Southend are: 4-4-2 or 3-4-3 Colchester united 4-4-2 counter Blackpool - 442 451 English League 2: Peterborough United are using a 5-2-3 formation with three centre backs, two wing backs, two centre midfielders, a centre forward, and two wide forwards (left and right). Hereford United - League 2 - 4-4-2 (normal) 4-5-1 (Chelsea style) English Conf: Halifax - 4-4-2 (normal) 4-5-1/4-1-4-1 Droylsden - 4-4-2 with a DM and AM but not in diamond formation just the arrows point to the DM position for the DM and the AM postition for the AM but both DM and AM are in a flat line 4 Scottish Leagues: Hearts - SPL - First Formation - 4-4-2 Diamond. Second Formation - 4-3-3 Italian Leagues: Inter are 4-4-2 AC Milan: They play more of a 4-3-1-2 with three central midfielders, one attacking central midfielder and two central attackers/strikers. Commonly misunderstood as 4-1-2-1-2 tactic. They're playing more through the centre, and pushing up side backs/full backs to provide offensive support. Milan have almost never used pure wingers. German Leagues: Bayern are 4-4-2 diamond Bayern Munich = 4-4-2 Werder Bremen = 4-4-2 or 4-5-1 or 4-1-2-2-1 French Leagues: Spanish Leagues: FC Barcelona - La Liga - 4-3-3 4-2-3-1 Real are 4-2-2-2 wide wingers that move inside Getafe = 4-4-2 Boca Juniors = 4-2-4 River Plate = 4-2-4 Uruguay.
